Bring the Conversation Home

Sometimes the best way to shift the conversation is to start it, together, in the same room.

Overview:

When you’re ready to introduce healthy argument to your entire community, nothing compares to having Robbie Gringras and Abi Dauber Sterne come directly to you.

Our Short-Term Residency brings FSA’s co-directors to your organization or city for 1-2 days of intensive programming designed to shift how your whole community approaches difficult conversations.

We create space for real conversations that your community may be yearning for but is unsure how to begin. From leadership gatherings to public-facing workshops, everything is tailored to your context.

If you want to spark curiosity, build shared language, and begin laying the groundwork for a community that argues well together – this is the place to start.

“Robbie’s workshops at our inaugural Z3 Miami conference were among the highlights of the event, consistently rated by participants as some of the most engaging and insightful sessions. His facilitation, along with the For the Sake of Argument model, introduced a fresh and innovative approach to Israel engagement that was truly eye-opening for our attendees. Robbie’s presence brought depth, curiosity, and a unique methodology that left an impact on the conversation and on our community.”

FAQ
How far in advance should we book a residency?

We recommend 3 months advance notice to ensure optimal scheduling and thorough program planning

Can we customize the programming for our specific community?

Absolutely. Every residency is designed from scratch, based on your community’s needs, demographics, and goals.

What’s the difference between having one or both co-directors?

Having both Robbie and Abi allows for more diverse session offerings and education styles that complement each other, and of course allows for more workshops to be run during a short residency when they teach singly.

How do we determine if this is what our community needs?

If you’ve identified a community-wide or organizational-wide need for better engagement with difficult topics, a residency will create the highest impact.

Can we combine this with other FSA programming?

Yes, many communities use residencies as the starting point for deeper engagement with us, followed by specific workshops or training programs. We can help you after the residency to find the next step for you.
